About Joseph Victori Wines, Inc.


The firm of Joseph Victori Wines, Inc. began with the implementation of Spanish items being imported into New York.  At the time the company was known as Joseph Victori & Co., Inc..  In 1910, Joseph Victori arrived in New York to open the first import business in Spanish wines and foods, after having been very successful in Puerto Rico, Cuba and Spain.  By 1920, the company was growing so rapidly that they moved to numerous locations in Manhattan. 

            In 1929, Federico Umbach took over the firm, he married Mary Victori the only daughter of Don Joseph Victori and to this day Federico Umbach’s family members still run the business, the current owner John F. Umbach, President.

        Joseph Victori Wines, Inc. is predominately a wine importing business, in which we import wines from:  Australia, Chile, Italy and Spain


Ř      Our wines are sold in approximately 45 states across the United States and in Canada.


Ř      We specialize in high quality Reserva wines at a good price.


Ř      We have approximately 30 sales agents that assist in selling in the states.
